What can I say? Much of me is in my lyrics. I prefer it as it makes the music that much more intoxicating on a good night.

As far as details go: I was born in Red Deer, Alberta, raised mainly in the lower mainland, and I lived on a boat for more than 5 years. While living aboard, I spent many school days ferrying back & forth so we could still travel without having to take time off. I graduated from White Rock and moved to Calgary, where I busked and hosted a jam in a local coffee shop. The jam was for fun. Busking paid my rent and food for me - 7 cats and a house load of kids. I'm not saying I supported everyone, but I made sure no one got hungry when ends didn't meet, even if it meant a 14-hour stretch (busking).

Having played since I was 5 years old, most of my music was pretty automatic, but busking is where I blossomed. I don't think I could ever stop busking, no matter which way my life turns - the energy rush and interaction is amazing.

After 7 months of that I returned to my biggest source of creative energy, the sea, and became a workaholic in the service industry in order to acquire more resources to enrich my musical journey.

I recorded my first full length CD of completely original music about a year ago, and plan to accomplish many more of my goals within the next few years. Thanks for your time and energy.
