Born in Shanghai, China of European parents. Arrived in Canada in 1950 and settled in Vancouver. Canadian citizen. Travelled extensively and have resided in Fiji, Barbados and Wales for extended periods. Graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor's of Education in Fine Arts. Took graduate courses in etching and painting at the (then) Vancouver School of Art, and painting at the Emily Carr College of Art and Design.
Trained as a cine-animator with John Dunn of Disney Studios.
Introduced the practice of curated exhibitions at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, and was the curator of such for several years.
Artwork in permanent collections at the Brussels Museum, Belgium, and at Simon Fraser University Gallery.
Employed as Assistant Curator of Education, Redpath Museum, McGill University for three years.
Designed teaching aids and textbooks for UNESCO, University of the South Pacific, Suva, Fiji.
Currently employed at Simon Fraser University as a Graphic Designer and Illustrator.
Currently teach and perform Middle Eastern Folkloric dance professionally.
