The next local artist showcase to be offered at Seventh Heaven Art & Beauty Salon in Crescent Beach is another well-kept secret of Semiahmoo Bay. This longstanding White Rock artist has painted and sold internationally! Seventh Heaven is privileged to present the works of painter Judy Jordison. The show titled - The Original Judy Jordison - All things natural - opens with the spring solstice Sunday March 21, 2010 from 2-6pm at Seventh Heaven Art & Beauty Salon in lovely scenic Crescent Beach. The exhibit and sale portrays the �Sensuous Landscape: A symphony in two parts � Part I Spring, Part II Summer. Part I is an exhibition of sensuous forms and colours of fruits and flowers found in her immediate surroundings at her home studio in White Rock overlooking Semiahmoo Bay. Prisms of colour and light play through her painting window with a view of the water, bounce through glass bottles with the colours of the day to settle on fruits and flowers from her personal garden. Part II Summer is to follow with the summer equinox in June, when we will exhibit new work from Judy�s palette from a series she is presently busy painting in scenic spots of Vancouver Island. Judy paints directly from nature as well as from life.
The openings will include music and poetry from local talents as well as many other surprises.
